Christians must learn how to keep unity. It doesn’t matter what difficulties are going on there’s a way to dwell with one another in peace. The best way to do this is by walking in the Spirit. Being filled with the fruits of the Spirit is the key. When we spend quality time with the Lord he leads and guides us into unity. When it is not there it’s possible what is happening is not of God because He desires for us to work together.
Psalms 133:1
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
Unity is obtainable with others when we commit to fulfill the guidelines God has given to us in his word. Commands such as, Love your neighbor as your self and everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. Other biblical guidelines such as; love is patient, love is kind, it is not rude or selfish. These commands, when obeyed, can help tremendously in our relations with others. Lets not leave this one out, forgive one another. When we fully surrender our lives to Christ and start living by his principles, unity is obtainable with many people in increasing measure.
I you are dealing with situations where there’s arguing an bitterness among one another, seeking the Lord through much prayer is always a wise thing to do. We have to find God’s will for our lives and when there is disunity we really have to seek the Lord.
Prayer: Lord give me ears to hear your voice and to be able to clearly understand your will in the situations that I am dealing with with Christians in my life.

It’s possible to be going through tough times and have peace in the midst of trials. Jesus taught several things about persevering through trials. The way I succeed is through seeking the Lord through prayer, Bible reading, worshiping, fellowship with friends and through service. As long as I stay connected to the power that will help carry me through tough times, I know that I’ll be OK. How can I know you ask?

For years I had heard that the “keys” of God’s kingdom were for binding and loosing things in the earth. For instance, I was taught that through prayer evil spirits could be bound and also heavenly things can be loosed.
I had a hard time understanding these principles the way they were presented in relation to the actual scripture, So, one day I just said; “God please reveal to me what this scripture means.” What follows is what I believe the Lord showed me in relation to how the scripture applies to my own life. Perhaps you will find the truth of God’s word as well. read Understanding the Keys to God’s Kingdom

In this life we will always be hurt by someone and there will be people that we hurt as well. This can be the type of sickness that lingers with us for many years afterward. Our emotions get stirred every time we think about the past event that has left us scarred for what seems to be for the rest of our lives. The good news is that God wants to heal those things inside of us that cause us pain, emotionally and spiritually. read Getting Hurt by People

As long as we live, there will be times of struggling with temptation. It is the initial thought that we must deal with quickly and not dwell upon. If we can quickly apply the scriptures to our lives, when the temptation comes, our struggle will be sooner over and we will win the battle. As the book of James relays, conception with temptation gives birth to sin. The key is to not romance temptation, but to rather turn from it swiftly because we desire to live in a good relationship with our Lord. read Struggling With Temptation
