Pressures in Life

We are always going to have pressures. The Lord told us that in this life we will have tribulations and trials. Take a look at the scripture below and you will see that Jesus knows what the difficult things are all about that we face daily. He was no stranger to suffering.

Hebrews 5:7-8
During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered.

Sometimes the frustrations in life bring a lot of pressure upon us. It is okay to cry out loudly with tears to the Lord. Our prayers will be heard if we do it with reverent submission. While we are under the pressures in life we are learning from the things that we suffer.

I remember a time, when everything just seemed to be going wrong and life was just falling apart. I screamed at the top of my lungs repeatedly “Jesus!” The Lord knew what my heart was saying. I think I must have really been saying, Lord help, I can’t endure these difficulties with out you. Its okay to yell out to God, he understands.

If you are in need of just crying out to God because of the pressures in life, just do it. David, the psalmist and king knew how to just tell God exactly how he was feeling. If we look at Jesus crying out in the new testament and David in the old, then we too can express to God that the pressures are tough to deal with.

Sometimes I scream at the top of my lungs for God to rescue me.
